Ownership and History |
Wadsworth Hall advertised itself as a residence for commuters as early as 1908. The facilities were described in a classified ad in the New York Times on September 2, 1917: "Wadsworth Hall, Arrochar, S.I.--Attractive and homelike; open all year; steam heated; good table and attendance; spacious grounds; accessible for commuters." Other listings noted that it was only two minutes to the train, was suitable for families and bachelors, and was adjacent to the Clifton Tennis Club. |
