Printed announcement, folded piece of paper printed with black ink. Inscription: "Staten Island Ladies Club, / Livingston, Staten Island. / The Annual Open Tennis Tournament of the Staten / Island Ladies Club will be held on their grounds at / Livingston, Staten Island, on Wednesday, Thursday and / Friday, September the 20, 21 and 22. / The events will be Ladies Singles and Doubles and / Mixed Doubles. Prizes will be awarded to the winner / and runners up in each event. / all matches will be best two out of three vantage / games. / Singles will be called at 2 p.m. Doubles at 3 p.m. / Mixed Doubles at 4 p.m. / The Tournament will be under the management of the / Tournament Committee and their decision on all matters / relating thereto will be final. / Entrance fee $1 for Singles, $2 for Doubles. / Entries positively must be made on or before September / 15 and must be addressed in writing to / MRS.
