"Miss C C Ward" is Caroline Ward, a lifelong resident of Grymes Hill, Staten Island. She was a friend of photographer Alice Austen. The Staten Island Ladies' Club was located on the grounds of the Staten Island Cricket and Baseball Club in Livingston. |
