Ownership and History |
Piel Brothers, Inc., took over the Rubsam & Horrmann brewery in Stapleton, Staten Island, after Rubsam & Horrmann shut down in December 1953. Piel Brothers produced and distributed Piel's Light and Trommer's Red Letter beers from that location. They closed their Staten Island operation in 1963. |
