Shipping and storage drum, made of laminated plywood and steel. Cylindrical shape, steam rolled construction, with flat, circular laminated base attached with a rolled steel hoop and a flat, circular laminated cover held by a rolled steel tab-lock ring. Faded inscription stamped on bottom: "VIRGINIA BARREL CO. / TRIPL-WALL / STATEN ISLAND - NEW YORK". |
