Description |
Hand-painted bookmark with a picture of a girl in a blue dress holding an open song book. The girl has bows in her hair and her lips are pursed as if singing. Painted in watercolor on off-white card stock. A slip of paper is adhered to the back to hold the bookmark in place on a page. Height is 5 inches. (Keywords: HRT, Twentieth Century) |

This is one of a group of eight similar hand-painted bookmarks found in an envelope marked "Done by Edna Lawrence." They were acquired from the estate of Alice Lawrence, who lived on Center Street in Richmond, Staten Island. |
