Original B&W film negative. Front view of Wiegand's Bar & Restaurant at 1864 Clove Road in Concord, Staten Island. It's a two-story building with inscription "1864" and designs of crossed bowling pins. Neon signs for Rheingold, Krueger, Budweiser, and Pabst beers are visible in the windows. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Wiegands / 3/19/56 / Silverman / 3 / 2 each 6x8." (Keywords: New York City, Twentieth Century) |
