Description |
Original B&W print. Diagonal front and side view of a building at 950 Richmond Avenue, near the intersection with Forest Avenue, in Graniteville, Staten Island. The ground floor is brick, with large storefront windows. Inscription on the window at left: "CHAS. MATTIS / PLUMBING;" a pedestal sink is displayed in the window, and other items are displayed in the window at right. The upper floors have clapboard siding. The original negative sleeve has a handwritten inscription: "50 of 57 / 950 / Richmond Ave / Victory Blvd to Forest Ave / May 14, 1941." (Keywords: New York City, Twentieth Century) |
