Original B&W print. View of a one-story commercial building on Arthur Kill Road in Rossville, Staten Island, as seen from the street. A high wooden fence runs alongside the building, and behind the building and fence are several tall pieces of equipment, including cranes. Sign on the front of the building: "WITTE MARINE EQUIPMENT CO. INC." At right, behind the fence, is a large pile of scrap metal. The fence at left has a "NO TRESPASSING" sign. Handwritten inscription on the reverse of the photo: "Witte 'Junk' Yard / Marine Junk / Arthur Kill Rd / Rossville / Photo R.C. Fingado / Early Dec. 1973."
