Original B&W film negative. View of Richmond Avenue in New Springville, Staten Island, showing the aftermath of an accident in which a piece of construction equipment has knocked down an Amoco gas pump. A sign is visible in the background for Henny's Ball Field and Picnic Grounds. Signs in the background near the center of the image point to the Goethals and Bayonne Bridges. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Mozier 10/15/52." (Keywords: New York City, Twentieth Century) |
