Original B&W print. View of Amboy Road at the corner of Main Street in Tottenville, Staten Island. Several stores and businesses are visible. The second building at right has a sign mounted over the sidewalk with inscription: "[illegible] / LAUNDRY." A street sign on the corner has inscription "MAIN ST." Photo has been retouched with black ink. Reverse has three handwritten inscriptions, each in a different handwriting: "Corner Amboy Road and Main St / Tottenville / New York;" "1724 / 6;" and "1000 / Imprint / Pub. by Thos. L. Moritz / Tottenville / N.Y." (Keywords: New York) |
