Original B&W print. View of Roff Street, looking west from Targee Street, in Stapleton, Staten Island. There are houses and commercial buildings on both sides of the street. Several handwritten inscriptions label parts of the photo: "TARGEE ST." is written on the cross street in the foreground; "ROFF ST" in on the street at center; "S.I. Linen / Supply" is written above the building on the corner at right; "Bottling Wks" [Bottling Works] is written above the third building on the left; and the number "4" is in the upper right corner. Handwritten inscription on the reverse: "4 / Roff St / Looking Westerly from Targee St." The original negative sleeve has a handwritten inscription: "4 / Zoning / Targee & Roff St. / Targee & Roff St / Looking Westerly / Showing S.I.
