There is a large cast iron stove at left; items displayed on the stove include metal teapots, a coffee grinder, and a white ceramic pitcher. In front of the window at right are a table with a tablecloth, and two Windsor chairs; the table is set with plates, forks, glasses, cups and saucers, and a matching ceramic sugar bowl and creamer (possibly a flow blue willow pattern). A pitcher and a bowl are on the windowsill. On the wall at right is a framed poster with an illustration of a sailing ship and inscription "PACIFIC / MAIL STEAM[ER]."
