View of the Transportation Building at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois, as seen from across a lagoon, with a small boat and bushes in the foreground. The photographer's initials are inscribed in the lower right corner of the negative: "COPYRIGHT 1893 E.A.A." The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Stanley / 35 / 580 / Golden door Transportation / Building / Fine clear day / W.L. 11.50 am / 60 ft Inst slow / Monday July 10th 1893 / World's Fair / (8)." |
