Ownership and History |
The decontamination shed, called the "Decom" building, was where workers washed up after working with the debris, to make sure they removed any contaminants. This is one of a series of 289 photos taken by Amesse Photography at the request of Staten Island Historical Society. The series documents work in progress at the World Trade Center Recovery Operation at the Fresh Kills Landfill. All of the photographs were taken on May 23, 2002. |
