Original glass plate negative. Eleven men stand in a row in front of a two-story building in Bennington, Vermont. The building has two large porches, with trees in bloom on either side. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "435 / Cramer / Light / Soldiers Home & men. / Fine, clear day / 9.55 a.m / Stop 22 / 3 1/2 secs / P. / Tuesday Aug 19th 1890 / Bennington." |
