Original B&W photo. Seated full-length portrait of a fireman in uniform. He sits in an upholstered chair with his left arm resting on the arm of the chair. His uniform shirt has a "3" in the center and a maltese cross-shaped badge. His belt has the number "3". His helmet rests on a table next to him; the frontpiece is inscribed "MEDORA / 3 / GEF." The painted backdrop suggests that he is in a photographer's studio. Printed inscription on the mount below the photo: "H. Schoerry, 43 Ave. A., N.Y. / 1890." (Keywords: New York) |
