The Saunders store was mentioned in the Richmond County Advance on May 9, 1896: "Chas. U. Saunders, the veteran bicycle dealer of Port Richmond, has a fine stock of wheels on hand, for sale or to rent at reasonable prices and on easy terms. He has also a well-equipped repair department and a complete line of sundries." |
