Original B&W film negative. Diagonal front and side view of a Mobilgas service station on the corner of Victory Boulevard and Fiedler Avenue in Tompkinsville, Staten Island. Sign over the door of the building: "ADAM'S SERVICE." Rows of houses are behind the station at left, and two apartment buildings are seen in the background. The street in the foreground is paved with rectangular blocks. The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Socony Vacum [sic] Oil 1-12-49 / 1 Ea 8x10."
