Original B&W postcard. A group of men, women, and children pose on the beach in Woodland Beach, Staten Island. They stand between two rows of tents with a wooden walkway in the center. There are two small wooden structures in the foreground. Printed caption upper left: " 'Teddy's Row,' Woodland Beach. Staten Island, N.Y." The reverse side of the postcard has a postmark dated June 23, 1914. The card is addressed to a woman in London, England. (Keywords: New York City, Early Twentieth Century) |
