Biography and History |
Daughters of the American Revolution is a national organization whose members must meet certain criteria with regard to their ancestry. Three chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution were present on Staten Island in the 1930s: the Richmond County Chapter; the Abraham Cole Chapter; and the Staten Island Chapter. Sallie Steinrock, Regent of the Staten Island Chapter at the time, is the principal author of the records held in the collection. |
