Description |
This is an individual item contained within archival collection MS236. This document relates to ballots used in an election in the Third Ward in the Village of Edgewater, Richmond County (Staten Island), New York, on June 2, 1896. It is handwritten on a long sheet of paper, folded in half vertically to form four pages. The document lists the numbers of full sets of ballots that were delivered to voters, returned, or not delivered to voters, the number of detached stubs place in a designated box, and the number destroyed. The document is signed by George C. Batz and Joseph J. Doyle, Ballot Clerks. There is a handwritten inscription on the last page: "Ballot Clerk's / Certificate / 3rd Ward." |
