Small collection of papers relating to the Cole and Wood families of Staten Island. These are primarily legal and financial documents, including deeds, mortgages, bonds, life insurance papers, wills, and papers relating to wills and estates. Collection also includes genealogical notes, correspondence with the law firm Braisted & Braisted, newsclippings of death notices, funeral cards, a funeral bill, a marriage announcement, and documents relating to the qualifications of an Exempt Volunteer Fireman.
