Original B&W print on a black cardboard mount. Front view of the Medora Hook & Ladder Company No. 3 firehouse on Castleton Avenue in New Brighton, Staten Island. The two-story brick building is decorated with flags and bunting, and has a sign near the top of the building: "MEDORA H & L Co. No. 3." A group of 44 men and one child are posed in two rows in front of the building. Most of the men are wearing suits; a few are wearing firefighters' uniforms, and the child wears a uniform-style cap.
