Description Woman's evening coat. Made of black and gold silk brocade with a fan design. Loosely fitted with long wide sleeves; the sleeves have brown velvet cuffs with elasticized bands at the openings. The coat has a brown fur collar and brown fur trim above the cuffs. The front button closure has two self-fabric covered buttons. The coat is entirely lined in printed silk taffeta with brown velvet at the side edges. This type of posh, high-style coat was suitable for an evening at the opera or a formal affair.
