Rosh Hashanah postcard (greeting card). Color-printed and embossed illustration of a gold basket filled with red and yellow roses, green leaves, and a blue bow; basket handle has a pink bow; beneath the handle is a wreath of blue flowers with an inscription in English and Hebrew: "A HAPPY / NEW YEAR." At left and right are two doves, each holding a small envelope in its beak. Gold border. Reverse has a divided back with printed headings. Handwritten inscriptions: "From Mr. / and Mrs. Jaffin[?] / 28 Stanton st. / Manhattan" and "Mr. and Mrs / Handel / Clinton st / near Bay st / Stapleton S.I." Postmarked October 3, 1910.
