|Ownership and History||
One of the highlights of this 1911 fair was an aviation demonstration by Miss Harriet Quimby, who flew from the Dongan Hills fair grounds out over the Narrows and back in a Moisant monoplane.
Despite the title "Staten Island Fair" on this program, the event was referred to as the Richmond County Fair in newspaper accounts. The tradition of the Richmond County Fair has continued into the twenty-first century with an annual event held at Historic Richmond Town.
