Title 1776
Description Trade card with a chromolithographed illustration of two men and a boy in uniform, marching next to each other. The boy and one of the men play drums; the other man plays a fife. An American flag flies behind them; a fallen soldier is on the ground in front of them. Printed caption in bottom border: " '1776'." Small printed inscription below the image: "THE GILES CO. LITH. N.Y." The reverse side has a printed advertisement: "B.T. BABBITT'S / BEST POTASH OR LYE, / OR / READY SOAP MAKER. / ..."
