Woman's 1-piece evening dress of multicolored pastel lace and powder pink tulle. Lace bodice has pointed peplum and thin straps. Full-length gathered skirt has multiple layers of draped pink tulle over synthetic lining. Side zipper closure. Cloth label at waist: "Ceil Chapman." Designer Ceil Chapman was born on Staten Island and worked on Seventh Avenue, New York City in the 1940s and 1950s.

|Ownership and History||Worn by donor, Margaret K. (Kavanagh) Porazzi of Staten Island, who was PTA president of St. Joseph Hill Academy in the 1950s. Mrs. Porazzi was honored as a Staten Island Advance Woman of Achievement in 1987. She died February 4, 1998.|
