Brown cloth and leather bound photograph album containing 58 B&W photographs and one print, on 24 cardboard mounts bound at one edge with cloth strips; metal hinge pieces. Embossed inscription on cover: "PHOTOGRAPHS." Printed and handwritten paper label inside back cover: "UNIQUE ALBUM. / SIZE F / ROBERT SNEIDER, / MAKER. NEW YORK. / PATENT 219,370." Several photographs are identified by inscriptions on mounts; these show various locations, including Silver Lake and other Staten Island locations, New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island, dated 1891 through 1894. Unidentified locations may include Rochester, New York, and Niagara Falls. Photos include landscapes, informal group portraits, firefighters, children, houses, oxen or other cattle, and three interiors, one identified as a workshop on Nassau Street in New York City.

|Ownership and History||
Included in this album are several photographs of Ida Dudley Dale (ca. 1887-1955) as a young girl. Ida lived most of her life on Staten Island, where she was active as an amateur genealogist, historian, and artist.
In one photo, dated October 30, 1893, Ida is seen in the center of the image, enjoying a tea party with her friend, her dog, and many dolls.
