Title Washington his truthfulness
Description Postcard (holiday greeting card); card is in honor of George Washington's birthday. Color-printed and embossed illustration of a hatchet with a gold-colored blade and a bunch of cherries draped over the wooden handle; on the hatchet blade is an illustration of a boy wearing eighteenth-century style clothes and hat, holding a hatchet in one hand and a cherry branch in the other. Background is blue with white stars, surrounded by a gold border with stars and stripes in the corners; the outer border is green. Printed inscription "Washington / his truthfulness," with fine print "COPR E. NASH 1909." Reverse has printed headings and fine print "WASHINGTON BIRTHDAY SERIES NO. 2."
