Object Name Handbill
Date ca. 1970
Description Direct mail advertisement for Westerleigh Savings and Loan Association, announcing a new branch at 533 Targee Street, Fox Hills, Staten Island. Item consists of a single sheet of heavy paper, folded into thirds, with a circular hole in the top panel revealing a map with the new location noted. Printed in black and gold-brown, with a bulk mail postage indicia at the corner. Illustrations include a depiction of a military drummer in uniform (probably representing the American Revolution) and various prizes for new account holders, including a grand prize of a Sylvania color television. Text describes services and announces grand opening celebration days, Monday, October 5th through Friday, October 23rd.
