Description Trade card. Chromolithograph on paper. Illustration of three young girls using a Domestic brand sewing machine to make clothes for a doll; next to the machine, a dog chews on the dress of another doll. Printed inscription below image: "THE IMPROVED / ' DOMESTIC ' / SEWING MACHINE / STYLE NO. 7, TRY IT. " In tiny print in lower right corner: "SACKETT & WILHELMS LITHO CO N.Y." Printed on reverse is a black and white illustration of a sewing machine with caption below: "NO. 7 ' DOMESTIC ' SEWING MACHINE. / (CLOSED.)"
