Wood of Travisville S.I. / in the STATE of New York were by me Joined together in / HOLY MATRIMONY / on the 25th day of July in the Year of our Lord / One Thousand Eight Hundred and seventy five. / Witness Sarah A. Palmer / Edmund J. Palmer / A.M. Palmer / Minister of the gospel". Printed at bottom: "Designed & Engraved by J.P. Cox. / 36 Beekman St. / PUBLISHED BY E. This marriage certificate was part of a collection of items donated to the Staten Island Historical Society by Mary (Wood) Leonard's estate following her death in 1947.
