Date 1884
Description Trade card. Chromolithograph on paper. Illustration of a woman's face peering through a hole in a newspaper page with "articles" about Hood's Sarsaparilla; page is titled "HOOD'S LATEST" and has the date "1884". Printed on reverse: "Hood's Sarsaparilla / Is prepared in the most careful manner by men fully conversant / with all the details of practical pharmacy..."; it goes on to list the ingredients, the ailments it will cure, and testimonials. Inscription continues: "Purifies / the / Blood / Strengthens / the / System /... / 100 Doses One Dollar /..."
