Description Greeting card (birthday card). Color-printed illustration of a branch with red flowers and green leaves; gold border around edges. Printed inscription in varied typefaces: "MAY EACH / BIRTHDAY YET IN STORE / Be Brighter / THAN THE / ONE BEFORE" The reverse side has handwritten inscription in ink: "Grandma with love / March 2nd 1885."

Ownership and History This card is part of a collection of personal items that came to the Staten Island Historical Society from photographer Alice Austen in 1945.
