Date 1908 postmark
Description Advertising postcard. Front is printed with color illustration of a wallpapered room interior, surrounded by a white border. Text printed below image: "ONE OF THE PAPERS IN / THE MAXWELL EXCLUSIVE LINE / WHICH IS CARRIED BY US / CALL AND BRING THIS CARD WITH YOU". Reverse has handwritten message, "Painting and paper / hanging neatly / done. / Chas. Koester / Linoleumville / S.I." and is addressed to, "Jackson Miller / Linoleumville / Staten Island." Reverse also has printed headings in black and postmark, "LINOLEUMVILLE, / APR / 21 / 7 AM / 1908". Postage stamp has value of one cent and shows image of Benjamin Franklin.
