Woman's 1-piece dress with matching coat [see catalog record 95.030.0003 for coat]. Made of pink heavyweight brocade with pink synthetic fabric lining. Dress is a sleeveless sheath with round neckline and zipper closure in back. Skirt has a front panel which conceals a single pocket that extends across the front.

|Ownership and History||Worn by Edith Susskind to attend Miss Staten Island Pageant events. Edith (Rivkin) Susskind and her husband Alfred were married in 1943. From 1960 to 1995 the couple owned and operated a gift store on Forest Avenue, Staten Island. Mrs. Susskind received a Bachelor's Degree in marketing from New York University. In addition to her career as a gift specialist, she was an active supporter of many local organizations, including the Miss Staten Island Pageant. She and her husband were longtime members of Staten Island's Congregation B'nai Jeshurun. Edith Susskind received a Staten Island Advance Woman of Achievement award in 1987.|
