Title Minstrel and Vaudeville Show
Description Program printed in black ink on off-white paper. Program is two sheets of paper folded in half and stapled to form 8 pages. Printed on the front cover: "Minstrel and Vaudeville / SHOW / Saturday, May 1st, '09 / Curtis Lyceum / PROCEEDS TO BE DONATED TO / THE S. R. SMITH INFIRMARY." The interior pages contain a program for the show, and numerous advertisements. Local businesses include: Jimmie's Boot Black Parlor; Tompkins Department Store; Gregg Bros.; the Duval Manufacturing Co.; Staten Island Savings Bank; T. Irving Simonson, Home Furnishings; Norman & Young, Building Contractors; May & Dalton, Undertakers and Embalmers; Foggin's Walk-over Boot Shop; Hooker Bros.; M. Tramutola,
dealer in fruits and vegetables; the Prall Agency (real estate and insurance); John M. Braisted, attorney and counselor-at-law; R. Leon, cigars and tobacco; Richmond Sign Co.; Lowell's Music Store; Chas. H. Lilly; Simonson's Seed Store; McFarland the Florist; and William B. Tyndale, resident salesman of Sohmer Pianos.
