Description Woman's 1-piece day dress of fine white muslin. Bodice has a wide square neckline and long sleeves that are full at the top. Eyelet embroidery and drawn work on bodice and cuffs. High waist with drawstrings in back. Skirt is smooth in front and gathered in back. Hem is decorated with eyelet embroidery and with a scalloped frill formed into elliptical ovals. This dress is considered a very nice example of the period.
