Greeting card with color-printed illustration of five children sitting on a fence with their faces away from the viewer. Printed inscription below: "May the NEW YEAR / find and leave thee blest." Fine print at lower left: W. HAGELBERG." and at lower right: "No. 339. COPYRIGHT." Card is rectangular with rounded corners and gold edge. The reverse side has handwritten inscription in ink: "For Alice with Julia's best love." The date "1887" is penciled underneath the inscription.
