Description Invitation. Rectangular white card stock with black printed inscription and serrated edges; invitation is in its original paper envelope. Inscription on the invitation: "Tottenville, N.Y. / May 9, 1905 / Dear Sir, / You and your friends are most / cordially invited to attend the GRAND OPEN- / ING of the Tottenville Ferry Hotel, foot of Bent- / ley Street, near Ferry House, on Saturday, Sund- / day and Monday, May 13, 14 and 15, 1905. / Yours truly, / S.N. Broderson, Prop. / An Excellent Supper will be served." Printed inscription in the upper left corner of the envelope: "Tottenville Ferry Hotel / S.N. Broderson. Prop. / Tottenville, S.I."
