Original B&W print on cream cardboard mount (cabinet card). Three-quarter length portrait photograph of a young woman wearing an elaborate gown and elbow length gloves; the gown has a wide, ruffled lace collar, large leg-o-mutton sleeves, and pearl trimming; the skirt is smooth in front, and appears to be full in back, with folds of the skirt drawn toward the front. She wears a comb in her hair. A sofa is in the background at right. Printed inscription on the lower edge of the mount: "Dana / IVORYETTES / BROOKLYN, / Cor. Bond & Fulton Sts." Handwritten inscription on reverse: "Aug 1894."
