Ownership and History Louis H. Meyer (1815-1892), a wealthy banker, had an estate known as Fox Villa (or Fox Hills Villa) on Fingerboard Road in Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island. It later became the Mount Manresa Jesuit Retreat House.
