Demyan's Hofbrau was a well-known Staten Island restaurant located in Stapleton. It was particularly noted for its role in providing catering for the production of the 1972 film "The Godfather."
This photo shows Demyan's Hofbrau at its second location, 730 Van Duzer Street. The restaurant was damaged by fire in 1980 and subsequently closed.
