Description Original B&W print on black cardboard mount. Six men stand on or near a 4-wheeled fire pumper with 2 large brass chambers and a long hose. The pumper is on a wood plank driveway in front of a building, probably the firehouse. Three men stand in the doorway of the building next door. Handwritten inscription at lower edge: "With the compliments of C.W. Hunt." Two inscriptions on the reverse of the mount identify this as the hand-drawn steamer engine (or pumper) of Cataract Engine Company No. 2, Staten Island Fire Department, in front of the firehouse on Van Street, West New Brighton.
