Description Original B&W print on cream cardboard mount. View of a pier, with water in the foreground. There are several cars and a truck on the pier, with three ferries visible in slips on the far side of the pier. There is a tall structure at the entrance to each slip; the structures on the left and in the center each have the same sign: "STATEN ISLAND FERRY / SHORT ROUTE TO NEW JERSEY." Smaller buildings are visible on the pier between the slips, and at left and right. Typed inscription on paper glued to the reverse of the mount: "TR - 176 / 69th STREET FERRY / Brooklyn Terminal / Looking southwest - view / of 69th St. pier from / Shore Road north of 69th St. / Bay end of pier to right / not shown. / By Herbert L. Van Cott / Nov. 23, 1964."
