Description Original B&W film negative. View of Howard Avenue in Grymes Hill, Staten Island, in the area of Arlo Road. A row of cars is parked along the left side of the street, and several houses are partially visible through the trees on the right. The car in the foreground has an inscription on the door: "NEW YORK / AND / RICHMOND / GAS / COMPANY." The negative has the photographer's handwritten inscription along the bottom: "# 5 LOOKING NORTH ALONG HOWARD AVE. 3-20-50." The original negative sleeve has the photographer's handwritten inscription: "Lynngate Const. 2/10/50 / 2."
