Description B&W print (possibly a copy print). Group portrait of eight men posing in front of a brick wall. Five of the men are standing and three are seated. They are dressed in work clothes. Some wear aprons or coveralls, and all wear hats or caps. They may be of various ethnicities and at least one may be African American. There are pipes running across the wall behind them. The image is identical to 84.026.0032; both were evidently made from a cracked glass plate negative.

Ownership and History This photograph may have been taken at the Atlantic Terra Cotta Company plant in Tottenville, Staten Island. The man seated at center in the bottom row has been identified as Herman Guether (1881-1963).
