Description Original B&W glass lantern slide. View of a two-story Queen Anne style house; a flight of brick stairs leads to a wide, wrap-around porch with columns. The house has shingle siding and a decorated pediment over the stairs. The edges of the photographic image are covered with a dark paper mask; the rectangular opening in the mask has rounded corners. A clear sheet of protective glass is placed over the image; the edges are sealed with dark tape. Two paper labels with handwritten inscriptions are adhered to the glass: an oval label with red border, "N.B.C. / AUSTEN / 31," and a rectangular strip of paper, "1889. / Mr. Felton's House / at Bay Head, N.J."
